A Dutch Colonial Massacre, Commemorating a Chinese Rebellion in Curaçao

Nizaar Makdoembaks and Wim van Lamoen teach us that on April 20th, 1942 fifteen Chinese oil tank workers rebelling against inhumane labor conditions of the Royal Dutch Shell were executed and buried in graves secretly in Curaçao. To this day the Dutch government fearful of reparatory justice refuses to apologize for the colonial killings and recognize them as war victims.
